As CEO, Bari K. Ngbobu embodies the pinnacle of achievement in the hair and beauty industry. His journey began in the Bua-Yeghe community, Ogoni, Rivers State, Nigeria, where even at a young age, his talents as a Tonsorial Artist (Barber/Stylist) outshone his peers. In 1995, at the mere age of 22, Bari made history in his community by operating the first salon equipped with electric-powered tools, despite previously working with less sophisticated equipment to earn a living.
His relentless dedication to his craft and the industry has seen him rise to international acclaim. As the current CEO and owner of Classic Cuts Barber Shop LLC in Sandy Springs, Georgia, USA, and the owner of D’Bari’s Hair and Beauty Academy in Abuja, Bari’s influence extends far beyond the barber’s chair. He is also recognized as one of the founding fathers of the National Association of Barbers & Cosmetology Employers of Nigeria (NABCEN).
Bari’s formal education in the field includes a diploma from Michaels School of Hair Design & Esthetics in Manchester, New Hampshire, USA. Moreover, his expertise is sanctioned by licensure as a Barber/Stylist in over thirty states within the USA. Complementing his technical skills is a Bachelor of Science degree in Global Business with a concentration in Management from the University of Phoenix, Atlanta campus.
His commitment to community and professional growth is evident through his roles as the Community Affairs Director of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO), a member of the Finance committee, and a committee member on the African Community Micro Credit Union in Atlanta, USA.
